I decided to start my career in the insurance industry after a life changing event opened my eyes.

That life changing event was the premature death of my mother-in-law. She was a wonderful person that made everyone around her feel special. When she passed on, she did so without any life insurance.

That put the family in a situation to have to pay for all the funeral costs and deal with all the other business aspects of a life coming to an end.
Her family wanted to grieve but we had to put that on the back burner until everything was handled. If she would have had a minimal amount of life insurance, we would have not had to deal with our own financial burden while trying to celebrate the life of a wonderful and caring person.
